Price of beer at the stadium
..fuck me - £5.30 for an Amstel and £6 for an IPA - both of which tastes like pisswater

I know I know , why drink there etc etc, just fell back into the habit after weaning myself off it last year... back on the JD and coke next time for me...

As what point do you think people generally will say, thats too much for a beer and fuck it orrfff-- surely we are at or close to that point!?

Re: Price of beer at the stadium
Pure greed....everyting is £5.10 or £6.20 or the like....just make it a round number ie £5.00 or £6.00 and the queues will disappear,

The imbeciles serving can't add up and are as thick as shit.

Re: Price of beer at the stadium
Shit service, shit products at ridiculous prices.

I avoid as much as i can eating drinking or boozing anywhere that gives revenue to the LLDC.

Everyone should try and do the same, it wont change until people start to fuck it off in good numbers.

And yes the owners need to take responsibility, anything to do with that stadium that impacts fans is part of their responsibility. Fucks me off too when they spout how affordable football is at our place.......not if you have littleuns who pay adult prices and then they want some food and drink at the game it isnt.

£6 a pint (Amstel) at the stand alone kiosk by 133.

Seems that the prices vary depending on location though.
That's aside from the known early bird 'discounts'.

Re: Price of beer at the stadium
Near 129, some bird tried to charge an old bloke £21 for 3 pints at HT on Saturday until someone stepped in.

Cheeky cunts.

Agree Manuel, and standing there drinking it puts you at the mercy of the silly cunts who start throwing it over everyone.

Re: Price of beer at the stadium
I have rarely boozed at football grounds, long queue's, stale, expensive beer in plastic cups, then needing a piss when you go to your seat. Save it for the pub.

Re: Price of beer at the stadium
Johnson 8.56 no problem on that score, losing the revenue for catering is a real own goal and the fact that we're losing revenue year on year in our accounts shows that the gang of three, really are unfit to run a large business

The party decks are fucking freezing for a large part of the season. And I should imagine pay is minimum wage, and no possibility of a tip or a free drink, like the Essex slag might get in the dog and duck.

Gavros 11:14 Mon Aug 12
Re: Price of beer at the stadium
What i cant stand is the moody local yute.

What they should do is get in some big titted essex slags who dont mind a bit of sauce.

They should do that, but they wont...

London under mayor Khan is a disgrace.

I personally cant believe they still cant work out that it would be quicker to get a load of pints ready for the half time rush...

Re: Price of beer at the stadium
It really isn't that bad. Worst part for me is the choice of beer but not something I'm that bothered about. There's loads of alternatives before and after the game but not for half time when I've decided to blow it out anyway because 15 minutes is not enough for me but obviously that's not unique to West Ham.

Might seem a lot to out of towners & Wetherstone's drinkers but I pay more in West End pubs.

Shafting the fans?

They’re not paying the price, the fans are.
